So many of the well-known large group rides (in MA, for instance,
B2B, P2P, and of course, the PMC) started with a small group
just having a blast out on their bikes.

I won't be at all surprised if Mike M.'s
"Granite Grind Autumn Spectacular" ends up being a major event
somewhere down the line.

Despite cold air, rain, wet leaves on a narrow, steep bike path, and a
dicey set of railroad tracks, my first ride of this neo-classic was
fantastic.

I snapped the photo at left at the base of the Cannon Mountain Tramway.
And before you cry "arranged," be assured that this particular parking of
bikes was totally "organic." (Had I arranged it, I would have inserted
the orange themed/tired bike at the far end between the yellow and
red color schemes.)
