9:17am: A resident of Plain Road alerted police after finding evidence of a bond fire near his home. The resident said that beer cans and reminisces of a bond fire were at the location. Police responded to the scene and talked to the resident. Added patrol will be in the area to prevent such activity in the future. [Editor's note: Sure, the economy's struggling at present, but have the value of bonds as an investment dropped that low? Sort of makes you reminiscent for the 80s.] |

10:57am: A Moore Road [sic] called police claiming that professional roofers were working on a neighbor's property in violation of the town's "No Sunday Work Rule." Officers reported to the scene and requested that workers cease and desist working on Sunday. The workers agreed and said they would resume work on Monday morning. [Editor's note: And to think, all that time spent cutting the lawn and doing other chores, and there was an easy way out.] |
