click any image at right to enlarge Succumbing to a temporary bout with sanity, I opted not to ride this year. Not wanting to be completely left out, however, I paced the Peet's of Wellesley group from just before Lexington out to Forge Village in Westford. They humored me and stayed back, and seemed in good spirits when I peeled off to complete my metric century. My morning started with a 3:45am wakeup. After the short drive up to Bikeway Source at the outbound end of the Minuteman Bikeway, I was wheels rolling just after 4:30am. Leaving the Bikeway at Fresh Pond, I hopped over to Memorial Drive and the corner of that fine street and Massachusetts Avenue.
