	Overall philosophy (communication to parents)
	Our overall objective is to have fun while learning to be better soccer players Coaches and parents subscribe to the BAYS Zero Tolerance policy regarding referees Good soccer is a combination of skills, stamina, and smarts We work hard to win; we learn from our losses and put them behind us Our team is an equal playing time team; playing time may be reduced to address discipline issues All players will get a chance to play most if not all positions, with a leaning towards natural fit
	Reminders (communication to players before practices and games)
	Our overall objective is to have fun while learning to be better soccer players. Along the way, we will always have an encouraging word for our teammates and opponents (and coaches!), whether they make a mistake or a great play.
	Logistics/Miscellaneous
	At practices, we like to minimize standing around. If each kid has a soccer ball, we can encourage juggling or passing back and forth whenever there is any idle time. (The Dutch say, "Always with the ball!")
