Overall philosophy (communication to parents)
- Our overall objective is to have fun while learning to be better soccer players
- Coaches and parents subscribe to the
BAYS Zero Tolerance policy regarding referees
- Good soccer is a combination of skills, stamina, and smarts
- We work hard to win; we learn from our losses and put them behind us
- Our team is an equal playing time team; playing time may be reduced to address discipline issues
- All players will get a chance to play most if not all positions, with a leaning towards natural fit

Reminders (communication to players before practices and games)
- Our overall objective is to have fun while learning to be better soccer players.
- Along the way, we will always have an encouraging word for our teammates and opponents (and coaches!),
whether they make a mistake or a great play.

Logistics/Miscellaneous
- At practices, we like to minimize standing around.
If each kid has a soccer ball, we can encourage juggling or passing back and forth whenever there is any idle time.
(The Dutch say, "Always with the ball!")
